AURORA VII - Colors of the storm - 1 hour real-time northern lights relaxation 4K

I have gathered a few hours of real-time footage of the Aurora borealis since the start of the 2023-2024 aurora season and they have just been dancing like crazy around Tromsø, Norway. This seventh episode is featuring especially geomagnetic storms from solar storms and their extremely colorful auroras.
For the third time, I am presenting to you 1 hour worth of ProRes RAW 4K footage. The final movie is about 220 Gb. Unfortunately, because of the compression, you won't be able to enjoy it as I see it on my 5K monitor, but I believe the quality will still be good to give you the goose bumps- Although you will view the film in a compressed codec, the ProRes RAW codec gave me an unprecedented latitude in post process to control shadows and highlights and keep most of those within the histogram. Because of the varying quality of your screen, some of the highlights might get burned (blob) and some of the shadows crushed (too dark), but overall you'll experience a much better dynamic range than ever before in aurora footage. Also, you will probably see colors you are not used to in real-time aurora recording, as the Atomos Ninja V+ takes advantage of the full bit depth of the sensor (16 bit converted to an effective 12 bit, but that's still 68 billion colors!!).

I hope to see this one day in my lifetime. Total solar eclipses and aurora lights come and go but our milky way galaxy will exist for a very long time possible for as long time can exist.

I've only seen the MILKY WAY once in my 76 yrs of life. We were camping on some farm land in another state (Pennsylvania) and I couldn't sleep that night. So I stepped outside into a clearing and saw this massive "thing" take up 1/2 my view of the sky!! I just froze there in complete awe!
